Awards Submissions

The 98th Academy Awards submission site is open. Please note that General Entry, Animated Feature, Documentary Feature, and the Short Film categories have two deadlines. For these categories, your due date is based on when your movie qualified. Please refer to www.oscars.org/oscars/rules-eligibility for more information.

* Following the first submission period, the Scientific and Technical Awards Committee annually publishes a list of selected areas of investigation for the award year. The second submission period allows individuals and companies with similar devices or technologies the opportunity to submit achievements for review.

Academy members and previous submitters do not need to register an account to log in. Please use either your Academy member username or your submitter email to log in. Once logged in, you can begin a submission or request access to a category.

If this is your first time submitting, click on the Register Here link below. Fill out the registration form; when you click Submit, you will be taken to your account page, where you may select the specific category or categories for which you are registering. If your account is approved, you’ll receive an email with a link to log in using your User ID and password. Be sure to read the FAQs for information on how to create and upload the form(s).
